The Pantheon

Rome is … hot! By far the warmest city we have been to so far. Can tell that it’s much larger geographically as well. After we fueled up with some spaghetti, we made our way to the Pantheon. Originally built by the ancient Romans as a temple to all of the gods, the building was later converted to a basilica. It is the only ancient Roman building that has consistently been occupied and used over the centuries.
